Red Cross assistance and possible practice schedule change

Hi York Kendo, Please read the following message from the Athletics and Recreation department at Tait McKenzie Sport Center: "Hi Sport Clubs, I’m sure many of you have heard of the sad and tragic story at the apartment building fire at Steeles and Finch early on the weekend.  Athletics and Rec have been appointed as an emergency shelter for a number of the families that have been displaced by this terrible event. We are playing an important role in assisting the Red Cross and the people affected to the best of our ability. To this end, there will be changes to the upcoming facility scheduling.  We are working together with the department leadership team to determine the best options for all our programs and events.  We will keep you updated as soon as we have information.  In the meantime, please ensure we are treating the guests in our facilities with Lion Pride." We will provide you with any updates as soon as we find out ourselves. Reg

UoT Godo-Keiko

Hey folks just a quick but important announcement! We have been invited by the University of Toronto kendo club to a godo-keiko! Both Bogu and non-bogu members are invited! The date is on Saturday, November 16th from 2pm-5pm (with keiko from 4pm-5pm). Location: Upper Gym of the Athletic Centre (55 Harbord St, Toronto) There will not be any practice that day at York since we'll all be at UoT.
